Questions

What size should a LinkedIn carousel be?

1080 × 1080 pixels (square) or 1080 × 1350 pixels (portrait). Square looks the same on desktop and phone. Portrait is taller, so your words get more room on a phone.

What file do I upload?

A PDF. LinkedIn also accepts PowerPoint and Word files, and turns each page into a slide people swipe through.

How big can the file be?

Up to 100 MB and 300 pages. Most carousels are far shorter than that.

How do I turn my slides into a PDF?

Download your slides, then combine them. On a Mac, open them all in Preview and choose File, Print, Save as PDF. On Windows, select them, right-click, choose Print and pick Microsoft Print to PDF.

Should every page be the same size?

Yes. Pages of different sizes look uneven when people swipe, so keep every slide the same.

Make slides at the right size

Pick square or portrait in the editor and every slide follows.
